Nives Marcassoli's glass artworks, due to her profoundly personal, poetical interpretations, together with her experimental techniques, belong to the contemporary world of art, the artist herself describes it as, Hot Worked Fused-cast Glass: a mix of paintings, drawings, fused glass, melting pot castings and mould casting. Each work of art, origins from intense studies of which the artworks find their individual personality, waiting for a body, an object, an element seized from reality; matter condenses life into unique pieces or settings. Art works such as landscapes or parts of a body such as segments of a spirit which are captured and intermingled within glass, a raw material dissected by the artist through this fascinating and singular, creating sequence.

The stages of these sequences are carried out by her personal interpretation of two techniques:
Casting and Sand-Casting.
